Meet The Team: Florentino Lopez

We are back with another segment of Meet The Team. who do a lot of work behind the scenes to make things happen for A-Game.

We are kicking this segment off with Florentino, our Creative Design Intern whose been on the team since last summer. He is currently a senior at San Jose State University majoring in Business Administration (Management Information Systems).

1). Favorite type of food?

As a Hispanic, my favorite type of food is Mexican food as there are many outstanding dishes. For example, one of my favorite Mexican dishes is enchiladas.

2). Outside of school, can you name some of your favorite hobbies?

During my free time, I like to exercise, read, and play games. Exercising helps me clear my mind and stay in shape. Reading helps me learn about different subjects that interest me, and playing games is a fun way to decompress from a long day.

3). What drew you to A-Game?

The company’s mission to highlight positive stories is what drew me to A-Game. I am proud to be part of the team that helps bring underdogs into the spotlight.

4). How was the adjustment with a virtual internship?

The onboarding process was smooth as I have previous experience working in a virtual setting. Online college courses taught me how to work in teams using different communication tools, so I had no issues working with the A-Game team.

5). In what ways have you grown from this experience?

As a Creative Design Intern, I have learned how to express my creativity in different ways. I have also learned how to share new ideas without hesitation. The A-Game team encourages everyone to freely share their opinions and ideas, facilitating a strong work environment.

6). Favorite moment with the A-Game team so far?

At the end of last year, we held a team meeting to recap the team’s accomplishments, and it was filled with great memories and good laughs. I enjoy these types of meetings because they increase the team’s bond and morale.

7). What brings out your A-Game?

I bring out my A-Game by putting my mind, heart, and soul into everything that I do. In other words, I always carry out my tasks with maximum effort to ensure success.
